"We has originally booked Casa Del Made Vizura in Kotor for my 50th birthday and we’re moved here last minute and told it was an ‘upgrade.’ You can’t fault the hotel, inside it’s beautiful. The rooms are of a high standard and the staff will do anything for you. Unfortunately when they told us we had been moved and ‘upgraded’ they missed that to get anywhere and do anything we would have to catch the ferry. It wasn’t accessible to walk anywhere from the hotel either other than to the restaurant across the road. We decided to move location after a night which was disappointing. I wish they had informed us sooner that they were closing the hotel we had originally booked, and not whilst we were on our trip."

"We stayed here for 3 nights (should have been 4 !! - reservation issue) in mid September, which was late season as the hotel's restaurants were not serving dinner. The only option was the Beach restaurant - Bocassa, good as it was. Excellent room standard and finish - we had a junior suite, attentive professional staff, ever helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good supplemented with full ala carte menu. The beach area was very clean, well maintained with attentive service. The only drawback was the hotel's location, with only one other restaurant in walking distance. I would definitely hire a car at the airport if re visiting as the bus services were limited. If you wanted to get to Kotor, you had to go 30mins in the opposite direction to Herceg Novi to catch and inter-city service. But definitely one of the best hotels at which I have stayed during 40 odd years of business and leisure travel"

"The hotel is beautiful, with stylishly furnished rooms and a good location (close to the ferry). The receptionist welcomed us very kindly and provided us with detailed information about the hotel and its services. On the downside, the breakfast was quite monotonous, the same every morning. The staff at the beach (Bocasa Beach) were not very attentive – if we didn’t call them, they wouldn’t come over to us. Glasses and plates were not cleared away, and the tables were left dirty. This is not 5-star service. :( On our last evening, we mentioned that we would like to check out early the next morning (6:00 a.m.), and we were offered a breakfast package, which we were really happy about. However, to our disappointment, the night receptionist knew nothing about our breakfast, and on top of that, there was no water in the building. We even had to ask for a bottle of water just to brush our teeth… :("
