San Anton Holidays

Malta’s tranquil heart

With citrus groves, soaring arches and beautiful walled gardens, things don’t get more idyllic than Malta’s San Anton. The area’s highlight is the gardens around the San Anton Palace – the official residence of the Maltese president. Close by there are churches, orchards and atmospheric streets to discover. While San Anton holidays might begin with a horticultural hit, there’s plenty more to see and do nearby.

The ancient fortified city of Mdina is close by, and a little further west Rabat has mosaics and catacombs and great places to eat and drink. Capital Valletta – home to museums, a mix of historic and contemporary architecture and cool galleries – isn’t far away either. The wild at heart should head for the coast around San Anton to enjoy rugged beaches, turquoise waters and towering cliffs. With enough to please everyone from history-loving families to couples in search of romantic scenery, holidays to San Anton are a captivating choice.
