"I agree with previous reviewers that this hotel is in great location. We opted for a private water taxi from the train station and agreed a price of 80 euros which was a lot less than I was expecting. The only downside was that it was agreed we could pay by card yet on arrival none of my 3 cards ‘worked’ so ended up paying cash! Although it was a nice treat, given how easy the vaparetto was on the return I would probably skip it next time. We had a room on a higher floor which had a canal view, the room was a good size and effective air con. There was a kettle and fridge Breakfast area was a little small but a decent choice There is a roof terrace (no bar) where you can sit up and relax, a nice touch We liked the Dousodoro area on an evening for food and drinks"

"What a find, the perfect hotel.Giglio the waters stop is brilliant for the Alilaguna water boats from the airport it is the first stop going to the airport.Just minutes from the stop to the hotel.The hotel is in a beautiful area of Venice little canals and bridges and very near to St Marks Square and The Guggenheim. The room was spotless the breakfast excellent and the bar at night the crowning glory. The service excellent and brilliant value.We will be back"

"We arrived at the waterbus stop which is a short walk to the hotel. Perfect location for all the sights and sounds of Venice. We walked into another world which fortunately was air conditioned! We were welcomed at reception and our bags taken upstairs. There is no lift! The room was more than we expected. Pristine. The white bed linen, sumptuous towels and we slept like logs! Breakfast buffet was petit and perfect. The staff provided wonderful service all the time. Nothing was too much trouble. There is no evening dining however, there are so many restaurants and cafes to choose from; all of which are close by. The four days flew by and we will have to return again to sample this incredible city. We will recommend the hotel to others. Graze mille x"
