"A small hotel that is in a good location, but pay attention to the room you are assigned. We were unlucky because ours had windows that were practically walled up, as can be seen in the photos. Single-pane windows, so noises and smells from the restaurant kitchen next door enter the room until midnight and from 6:30 in the morning, Sunday included. There isn't even a kettle in the room for herbal tea or tea. The bathroom, probably renovated, had a broken towel rack (photo). The shower gel bottles were worn to such an extent that the writing was all crumbling off (photo). The room was not even provided with a bottle of water, which we got from the vending machine on the ground floor. All this for €286 per night, two people. I couldn't wait to leave."

"We stayed at Hotel Scandinavia for four nights and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Everything about our stay was positive. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. One small gesture that really stood out was when we didn’t have any coins for the drinks machine—they kindly let us have the drinks and simply added them to our room bill. It showed a genuine focus on customer service. The hotel is beautifully decorated in a classic Venetian style, giving it a charming and authentic atmosphere. We also enjoyed the lovely view from our room. The location is fantastic. Most of Venice’s main attractions, including St. Mark’s Square and the Rialto area, are only a 5–10 minute walk away, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. We would definitely recommend Hotel Scandinavia to anyone visiting Venice and would happily stay here again on our next trip. Thank you to the whole team for making our visit so enjoyable!"

"Hotel with a smell of dampness and old rooms. Terrible service from the morning shift receptionists, very arrogant. They gave me separate beds when we were a married couple, I asked for a change and they told me that because we had used the bathroom for a minute they wouldn't do it for us. They leave your suitcases in a dining room that everyone has access to. Terrible hotel, bad service. We are not coming back."
