"Absolutely Loved this hotel. Out whole venice holiday was lovely but this was definitely a place you could come back and relax. The bed was so comfy, bathroom lovely and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. We had breakfast every morning which was lovely. Pancake with chocolate where unreal! Highly recommend. Its located perfectly for you to be able to venture out and see all the sights and hot spots, amazing food EVERYWHERE ranging from a 2mins to 30 mins walk, i can’t recommend enough how much we enjoyed our stay. Theres a little shop opposite to and some cafes that come to life at night time. Can’t wait to go back! 10/10"

"We stayed at Hotel Santa Marina in Venice for two nights in June 2025, but I wouldn’t recommend it. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to many main attractions, which is a plus. However, the room was underwhelming, while clean, it felt dated and in need of renovation and better maintenance. The experience with the front desk staff was extremely inconsistent. On the positive side, there was a very friendly and helpful woman (blonde hair and dark-rimmed glasses) who was a pleasure to deal with. She really made a difference in our stay. Similarly, the bellboy with dark hair and glasses was also very polite and helpful. Unfortunately, the tall man at the front desk with curly dark hair was the opposite. He was cold and unhelpful; offering little assistance with even basic questions. When we asked about a rooftop terrace, he simply said "no" without offering any further information. A more courteous response would have clarified whether the hotel had another outdoor space, such as the ground-level terrace we later discovered. Overall, not a hotel I would recommend despite the location. Overall, while the location is good and a few staff members were excellent, the outdated room and unprofessional behavior from one staff member left a poor impression."

"The hotel is well located in the center of Venice, with charming and charismatic rooms that reflect the city’s character. While the room was well-equipped overall, there are a few things to be aware of. The rooms face the street, which means it can get quite noisy at night. Additionally, the lack of charging points near the bedside tables or desk was inconvenient, especially for modern travelers with multiple devices. There was no room service or fridge available, which made the stay a bit less comfortable. Small details like complimentary water were also missing, which would have made a positive difference. Another issue was the heating — it seemed to be on constantly, making the room quite hot during the night. Unfortunately, leaving the windows open wasn’t an option due to street noise and people smoking outside. Overall, I’d rate this hotel 3 out of 5 stars. If you’re looking for a place that’s centrally located, easy to access, and you don’t mind missing a few luxuries, this could be a good choice."
