"Great location right in the center of Venice—just a two-minute walk from Piazza San Marco. The staff are very helpful, and the breakfast is high quality and delicious. The only minor issue is that the room floor is a bit slanted, but I guess that's a common characteristic of old buildings in Venice!"

"We were very disappointed indeed. The welcome was cold and impersonal . It has been like this throughout our stay. When we asked for advice the answers were irrelevant or useless. No smile, no attention, we thought we were staying at one star hotel . That was a very big disappointment as our previous stay in Genova was exceptional while in a similar category hotel. The staff who carried our lugage to our room, waited for a tip in an ostensible way ...The lobby is very small and not if the room was well furnished and clean, we found it very small . But again , everything would have been ok if the people at the desk has shown some humanity and professionalism."

"I really appreciated the friendly and familiar atmosphere at Dona Palace. The staff was helpful and kind and I felt at home. The garden was a nice resting place and my room was quiet although the area is busy."
