Ca Bonfadini Historic Experience

"We had an amazing stay at Ca’ Bonfadini. The hotel is beautiful and full of character, with a really calm and elegant atmosphere. Our room was spotless, very comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always happy to give recommendations or help with anything we asked. The location was great too — easy to get around Venice but still quiet and relaxing. Overall, it felt like a special place to stay and really added to our Venice trip. We’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it."

"This hotel is totally beautiful, if you want perfection and five star service then this is for you. Everything is gold here, even the fire extinguishers , you are made to feel so special by every member of staff. Our room was upgraded to a suite, wow, it was stunning, there was even gold hair straighteners in the drawer, All designer toiletries are supplied, you don’t need to bring anything including your toothbrush. Hand written notes welcomed us sealed with a wax stamp. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they even crushed fresh ginger for us when we asked for a ginger ale. The breakfast is totally superb, the variety of fruits, yoghurts, nuts, cold meats and cheeses and cereals are on offer before you even order your hot food. You are also directly overlooking the grand canal, it’s breathtaking. I would also recommend getting a water taxi, you can walk to marks square in about 20mins, but it’s such fun if you want a really special experience-they are like limousines on water. The glass roof open and you can stand up and really experience Venice properly and in style -if you take one to the airport from this hotel and you love speed it’s definitely worth the £150 euros. Its great fun. This hotel is a must if you want luxury and to experience something extra special. It’s truly sensational. The mask carnival was on when we arrived and they were filming bridgerton, everyone is wearing masks or in full costumes, there is such a great atmosphere with music, stalls and lights. Be careful of the hustlers, they befriend you, shake your hand and once your hand is in there’s they put a rope bracelet on you and demand 20 euros, it’s the same with roses, don’t take one unless you want to pay over and above for it"

"Beautiful hotel, super clean, very friendly, efficient staff. Easy boat transfer from the airport. Perfectly situated, quiet, but 5 minute walk to bars, shops and gentle 25 minute walk to St Marks Square, Rialto bridge etc. I would highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay again. "
