"Room was competitively priced and clean. Female staff members were very welcoming and the location is great with it being right be the train station and with many shops and restaurants nearby. WiFi was good. Safety felt good as well. I felt that the male staff member was rude to me though, with quite a bit of tutting and heavy sighing. My room did not have air conditioning which meant it was very hot, even throughout the night during the summer. The ceiling fan did next to nothing 😅. Also have to leave the key at reception for some reason? Maybe too many people have dropped their keys into the canals in the past? Price was great though and I think I’d recommend for a place to sleep for a very short stay when the temperature isn’t in the 30c region"

"Arriving at the hotel the location is perfect, basically in the middle of everything you need. The receptionist was very welcoming and helped us to our room. The view outside of the window was absolutely beautiful. We had our own bathroom which was lovely, however there was mould all on the ceiling and walls. Myself and my partner had a late afternoon nap for a few hours and then went back out for some dinner. When we went to bed we noticed a little bug crawling on the wall. Having never seen this bug before we searched it up and it ended up being a bed bug! After noticing the one, we then noticed another 5/6 of them further along the night, all above the headboard and even under my pillow! I was shocked and felt so ill. We let the receptionist know, who then changed all of our bedding and moved the beds away from the wall. It was 1:30am at this point and no other hotels were available. We was not given an option for another room or even any sort of money back, just an apology. We didn’t sleep all night and just had to stay awake until our flight in the morning. Such a shame as the hotel itself is lovely and we enjoyed ourself right until that moment."

"I stayed for two nights and was pleasantly surprised by the quality/price ratio. The location is quite good, just a 5-minute walk from Santa Lucia train station, with restaurants and souvenir shops right below the hotel, as well as a 5-minute walk from vaporetto stops. We were very warmly welcomed by both the older and the younger gentlemen. I especially appreciate the kindness of the older receptionist. The room is small but clean and cozy, suitable for two or three nights. The bathroom is small but has everything you need. The only downside is the heat in the room; however, there is a ceiling fan. I recommend this hotel."
