Al Vagon

"Decent hotel overall. We did not receive the room as advertised in the pictures. It was much smaller and didn't look that great so if booking please contact the hotel to confirm what room you get first and avoid the mistake that we made. Room was not soundproof and could hear next door very clearly. The hotel is in a great location and is a good price if traveling solo for 2-4 days. Not for a romantic getaway. Staff was friendly and welcoming."

"If I could give zero stars I would! We had reservations to stay at hotel Al Vagon on Oct 8th and 9th. We called the hotel the morning of the 8th to explain that we had to leave for an emergency and cancel our reservations due to Hurricane Milton hitting our hometown Sarasota, FL which was expected to hit as a Cat 4 hurricane. The hotel assured us we would not be charged. Well, after numerous phone calls from us and Expedia there is still no refund, and we were charged $527.00! They proceeded to tell us that they are now NOT going to refund our money! Shame on Hotel Al Vagon, that was a terrible thing to do!"

"We had reservations to stay at Hotel Al Vagon on oct 8 and 9th, we had to leave early on the 8th due to Hurricane Milton hitting our home town of Sarasota Florida as a cat 4 hurricane. We called the hotel on the morning of the 8th and explained our urgent situation. They assured us that we would not be charged. Well 3 weeks later and numerous calls from us and expedia and there is still no refund of our $527.00. They proceded to tell us that they are not going to refund our money. Shame on Hotel Al Vagon, A terrable thing to do."
