"Had a lovely stay here. Super friendly welcome and service from the owner in this family-run hotel. It's got a lovely traditional Italian vibe and the room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very enjoyable too and excellent value. It's easily walkable from the train station and very near to one of the gates into the old town. There's also a handy Lidl very near to pick up a few essentials - like water and wine! Very happy to recommend."

"Quaint family run establishment since 1921. Ten minute walk to Porta Elisa. Great pizza up the block. Great gelato a block away. Supermarket a block away (wine). There is a great breakfast. A bar for a night cap after a long day of walking Lucca or driving to the beach or the mountains. The family running it couldn’t do enough for us. The spear good English and I heard Giovanni speak fluent French. The rental car co. Gave me a bigger car than I booked. I couldn’t get into the parkade so they gave their parking. Amazing. My sister lives close by so I will stay here again."

"This hotel is family run and was just a pleasure to stay in. It has a lovely homely feel and the rooms and old style but very clean and comfortable with all the facilities you need. Perfect for our short stay in Lucca and the hotel owners could not have been more hospitable. The breakfast was perfectly adequate with fresh produce and fresh breads and croissants to set us up for the day. A great place."
