"The front desk was very unfriendly . We tried to get a late check out since when we arrived two days prior our room was not ready when we got there at 2:00 had to wait more than 2 hours until our room was ready . once we got our room, we waited another 45 minutes for our luggage to come up after we called the front desk, we wouldn’t have not received our luggage.. our last night stay there was construction going on below our room with a air hammer busting concrete. We did not get any sleep all night long. We mentioned it to the front desk and she said she did not know what we were talking about.. then my wife went to check out and they pre charged us $80 for tips for the staff. We were only here two days and we never needed a staff memberThe ONLY good thing about this place was Aldo the concierge. he was great . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL"

"We were meant to be staying in the sister hotel, but knew to a technical issue, we were moved to this hotel. The hotel location is perfect to walk into Florence and visit the key sights. Room - the river view bedroom was enormous and very comfortable. The first bottles of water are free and any other used you have to pay for. The bed was huge and we slept very well. There is even a turndown service in the evening. Car park - this is a valet service and if you have an electric vehicle then it’s parked at a different garage. Staff - the staff are lovely and very helpful. The concierge, Walter was very helpful and good to talk to. Plus, Luca who bought our luggage was very sweet. The front desk staff were also very helpful when we had a problem about our car parking. There is an added service charge of 6% to your final bill that is an extra tip to the staff. This is an optional charge and was pointed out when we checked in, so no surprises at the end bill. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend."

"Absolutely great experience and amazing service. Everyone in the staff is very helpful and prompt in solving any request. I definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Florence. We only spent 3 nights there, next time we will stay longer. The location is great, very close to the city center and good restaurants, and the rooms very comfortable, clean and sufficiently spacious."
