Pitti Palace al Ponte Vecchio

"We had 4 locations in our Italy trip and Florence was the third leg of our trip. We spent a lot of time researching our hotels and unfortunately the B&B Hotel Pitti Palace was not what was advertised. The Hotel and rooms are dirty with a bad odor when you walk into the room. This hotel was the most disappointing thing of our entire trip. Great Marketing.... Horrible Hotel!"

"We had a really lovely visit at the B&B Pitti Palace at Ponte Vecchio. The hotel was comfortable and had many places to lounge with gorgeous views. The room was clean and well-appointed. The staff was extremely kind and friendly. I have to say, we had the best experience with the breakfast service on the top floor. Notonly were we greeted with a very nice breakfast and beautiful views, but the service of the staff that served the meal was really amazing. Very talkative and friendly, and ready to serve you cappuccino after cappuccino, complete with designs on the top! It was an exceptional experience and I’m so happy we stayed there."

"Wonderful hotel in the PERFECT location. However, a very touristy location on the edge of the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Expect a lot of people outside the hotel during the day. The hotel has basic amenities and rooms. Simple breakfast which is not included. The rooftop breakfast also has open window design to give the best views of Florence. Rooftop stays open to 11pm for the views. You are walking distance the Pitti Palace, shops, and great restaurants. Very safe at night. I highly recommend if you are looking for an affordable hotel and less extravagant rooms. The front staff were very nice and allowed us to keep our luggage in a locked room while we waited for our train after checkout."
