"Old and microscopic rooms; you can't even open a suitcase. I asked room service for a long coffee in a large cup and a bottle of water (15 euros); they brought me a regular coffee, but this is an insignificant and barely acceptable detail, but it was served without sugar and the bottle without a glass, saying that the sugar was in the room, which was not true, and that the glass was also in the room. Annoyed reaction from the waitress when faced with my complaints about the service. Is this room service for a 5-star hotel? On the beach, it is impossible to relax because there is free access for vendors of everything who pester you every 5 minutes. Not a positive experience given the hotel's category."

"Very pleasant few days down the hill from Taormina. Great food, great staff and a good beach set up. Our room was great . It is expensive but it gets you out of the melee in the old town of Taormina, choked with cruise ship passengers and tours of tourists who don’t know what they are looking for . Taormina town is one big over priced tourist trap. But the resort gets you away from that"

"Awful, they must have a completely different star rating system in Sicily or this hotel in particular has fraudulently been given a 5 Star. I would say it is more towards a 3 star than a 5, and if price was taken into account a 1 out of 5. There was noise disturbance all night long from a wedding we wasn’t told was taking place prior to booking. I have also attached photos for reference of the standard of this hotel even if the wedding and noise disturbance was taken out of the equation."
