"Excellent hotel. Staff were brilliant and the facilities were great. Peaceful if a little out of the way location. Shuttle into Syracuse was really useful but could be more flexible. Breakfast spread was impressive for its variety and the vast array of options. Evening meals in the restaurant near the pool have you lots of choice and most dishes were well made and tasty with some invention and creativity. Best of all we’re the fantastic staff. Courteous, friendly and attentive, loved our stay!❤️❤️"

"We chose this beautiful and unique boutique hotel and experienced the true essence of Sicilian hospitality. The staff are gorgeous and gracious and the owner, Giusi, orchestrates the magic of this place with elegance and genuine warmth towards her guests. The food is terrific, really terrific. If you want a place that does freshly made Sicilian food really well, then Borgo Pantano is the place to do it. Highly recommend the seafood, the gorgeous pastas, lemon infused desserts, and the outrageously good Sicilian wines. Breakfast felt like being a kid in a candy store (if the store was filled with the scrumptious Sicilian delights on offer here, sweet and savoury). Compliments to all the chefs and cooks (and the local wine producers for that matter). Slept really well in our room which was spacious, bright and extremely comfortable. The grounds are beautifully maintained and picture perfect with citrus trees and scatterings of well positioned areas to relax and laze around. The pool area is vast and despite the hotel being full, there were plenty of sun beds. Lastly, a nod to the ever helpful bar and pool staff, who kept us equipped with fresh towels, water and the odd beer during the hot sunny days. Grazie mille and see you again soon!"
