"I had dinner here one evening and the experience was below expectations. The customer parking was not marked and I entered the employee one, not being able to find the access door right away. Once I found it, I remained waiting for a long time outside the door locked from the inside. No one came to open it for me. I had to call. It presented itself as a gourmet restaurant, but it was not up to par. In the fish dish, the accompaniments were mediocre. When asked how the dessert was, I pointed out that the cannolo shell was clearly not fresh. They kindly insisted on offering me an identical one. The welcome appetizer was almost offensive. I am sorry because the building, the lighting, and the greenery are truly of a high standard."

"DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. We were on a Tauck tour and they booked us for 2 nights on 9/18 and 9/19. While we were at a Tauck dinner on the 2nd night, our rooms along with the rooms of two other couples were robbed ( all adjacent rooms). Not only did they get into the locked rooms, they also got into the locked safes. Interestingly, they did not take all of the money in the safes (they just took the larger bills) so that it would appear that it was all there and we would not notice until later. When asked, the hotel said their cameras were not working and that they could not do anything for us. This is not the experience one would expect from a 5-star hotel."

"We stayed 2 nights in this 5-star establishment located in a magnificent setting, offering a garden and pool. It is an old monastery that has been restored with great taste. The dining rooms are true architectural jewels. The staff is rarely courteous. The breakfasts are delicious and very varied, same for the dinners. The room we occupied was small (poorly soundproofed) and the bedding needs to be reviewed (mattress squeaking). The bathroom is insufficiently equipped with storage (a storage unit could be installed under the sink, a corner shelf to place soaps and shampoo in the shower). It is reasonable to estimate that the establishment is a very good 4*."
