"We stayed at the Palace Catania | UNA Esperienze during our time in Catania and the overall judgment is definitely positive. The hotel is elegant, well-maintained, and in a very convenient location for visiting the city. We liked the room a lot: beautiful, comfortable, clean, and well-organized, with pleasant spaces and particular attention to the decor. The staff proved to be efficient, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. The parking service is also very useful, especially considering the central location of the property. There is also a fitness area with modern equipment, a service we appreciated. The real strong point, however, was breakfast on the terrace. For about 10 euros more than the normal offer, we chose the most complete package and it was absolutely worth it. The selection is rich and very well presented: different types of croissants, assorted pastries, Sicilian sweets and specialties, cannoli, fresh fruit and vegetables, juices and drinks, as well as the possibility of preparing fresh juices and extracts on the spot. The terrace environment is also very pleasant, bright and surrounded by greenery. Certainly one of the best breakfasts of our trip to Sicily. However, there are two aspects that, for a hotel of this category, should be improved. During our stay, we had difficulty contacting the hotel by phone from the outside several times: the number was often unreachable or in any case we were unable to get in touch with the property. For a hotel of this level, it is a service that should work without problems. The other inconvenience occurred at the time of payment, when we found that not all cards or all bank networks were accepted. I do not know the reason and therefore I will not go into the merits, but this is also an aspect that I believe the management should check. I am sorry because, once these two inconveniences are eliminated, for the quality of the room, staff, location, parking and especially for the exceptional breakfast I would have gladly given five stars. Overall, it remains an excellent hotel, to which I would gladly return."
