"We stayed for 2 nights in September. Welcome at reception was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable and a problem with our shower was quickly rectified, and followed up to make sure we were happy. Good breakfast, although you had to ask for fresh orange juice. We ate in the rooftop restaurant one night, reviewed separately, overpriced and the service should have been better. The hotel is in a good location for all the sites."

"Large, upscale hotel in a good location. It’s toward the top end of the thoroughfare ending at the duomo, fish market, and other tourist attractions. It was also just blocks from the Market Fera O’Luni. It has a rooftop bar/restaurant, but is expensive compared to other bars/restaurants in the area. Only plastic cups were provided in the rooms, but real glasses were provided on request. Cleaning staff did not remove the glasses or clean them, but at least that meant we didn’t have to get new ones each day."

"We arrived earlier than check in time so we stored our baggage and left the hotel to explore the area as this was our first time in Sicily. We returned a few hours later and only one room was ready so we sat in the lobby for another hour. Typical of a large hotel, the staff is efficient but not very welcoming to their guests. The staff when we initially checked in, could have suggested the breakfast buffet in their upstairs restaurant. Our room was small but well furnished and very clean. The housekeeping staff was great and does a wonderful job refreshing the rooms daily. Bathrooms have tubs which as an older traveler is not ideal. We both slipped getting in and out the first day. Wet porcelain is dangerous. They did provide tub mats upon request which helped the situation. Not sure if they have rooms with accessible showers. The location was convenient to historical sites, open air fish market, shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was lovely, lots of food choices and great service. We always include breakfast when booking rooms to make it convenient."
