"Unfortunately, my experience at the Four Points by Sheraton Catania was decidedly negative and far from what one would expect from a property of this level and, above all, from the prices charged. The property appears old and in need of a serious modernization. In my room, I found dirty walls, the bathtub drain not working, and the safe unusable because it kept signaling an error. I was even forced to go to the front desk and use the safe available on the floor below. Breakfast was also a disappointment: this morning the hard-boiled eggs were, in my opinion, inedible. But what I find even more serious concerns the service at the pool and in the small beach area. When I requested bar service, the lifeguard replied to me: “We are short-staffed, we cannot do it.” A response that I consider unacceptable for a property that charges certain rates. If the staff is insufficient, the paying customer should not have to suffer the consequences. Absolutely insufficient value for money. I had the feeling of having spent a lot to receive services and standards decidedly lower than expectations. In my experience, this property is absolutely not worth the money requested. If I could go back, I would choose another hotel in the area without hesitation. I do not recommend it. NEVER"
