Set in San Leone, just outside Agrigento, this place is a great pick if you want to mix beachy downtime with one of Sicily’s biggest cultural showstoppers. The sea is close by, and the Valley of the Temples is only a short drive away, so your days can swing from sandy strolls and seaside lunches to ancient ruins and golden-hour sightseeing without much effort. Scala dei Turchi is within easy reach too, which is never a bad extra to have up your sleeve.

Back at the hotel, there’s a seasonal outdoor pool for easy-going afternoons in the Sicilian sun, plus a spa when you’re in the mood to swap sightseeing for switching off.
