"Lovely hotel. Staff very comited, kitchen is over my expectations, nice Mediterranean food, bar with nice drinks. Nice beach with chairs and canoes included. All the workers are very nice and respectful. The entertainment team are great, funny and very creative. Definitely highly recommended."

"A lovely, relaxing stay with a fantastic entertainment team. We had a really enjoyable stay at Hotel MClub Del Golfo. The hotel itself is small and had a family feel about it, which we really liked. The hotel is very popular with Italian and French clientele, (very few English), so the hotel very much has them in mind and for many staff English is their third language. But do not let this put you off - they will make every effort to help. The entertainment team deserve a special mention because they really helped make our holiday so enjoyable. Although the hotel is very much geared towards the French and Italian clients Sara, Guilia, Marco, Paul, Alex, Gigi and Anna were all absolutely superb. They were incredibly welcoming, friendly and always had a smile on their faces. They genuinely made us feel happy and included throughout our stay. They took the time to come and chat with us, and even joined in when we were playing games, which really added to the fun. During the day they worked incredibly hard to keep everyone entertained, with games, aquagym and activities on the beach. You could tell they really cared about making sure everyone had a good time. I also have to mention the bar staff — Ilara, Francesca, Matteo and Luigi. They were fantastic and very patient with me attempting to speak Italian! They happily put up with my efforts, helped me when I couldn't remember the right words, and always made us feel welcome. Their friendliness really stood out. The food was good overall. Lunch and dinner could be a little chaotic at times, especially while getting used to how everything worked, but once you got into the flow of things, it was excellent and we certainly couldn't complain about the quality. The restaurant could at times be incredibly warm though and at times wasps were a bit of a pain; but this is nature (and was not all the time) the staff did address this by lighting 'candles' which did keep them away. One thing to be aware of is the hotel's location. It really is in the middle of nowhere, so if you want to explore the surrounding area or get out and about during your stay, I would definitely recommend hiring a car, which you can do in the hotel. The hotel also arranges excursions on a daily basis. That said, the entertainment team do a fantastic job of keeping everyone occupied, so there is still plenty to do at the hotel if you simply want to relax and enjoy your holiday. I want to mention the celebration night, held on Thursday, put on by the management to not only say thank you to the guests for visiting, but also to thank each and every one of the staff (by name). It is such a nice gesture. The beach was clean and tidy, and we really enjoyed spending time there. There was some seaweed in the water on certain days, but obviously that's not the hotel's fault. On other days, the sea was incredibly clear and crystal blue, so it really depended on the day. Overall, we had a lovely time at Hotel Mclub Del Golfo. The hotel may be small and somewhat isolated, but the fantastic staff, particularly the entertainment and bar teams, really make the experience. We would happily return!"
