"A 4-star hotel that is not worthy of a 4- star rating as we had reserved with big operator TUI, that was a great shame on this ocassion how they have dealt with our complains and in general "a copy paste" answer to our complains in different bookings.
In reality, the resort provided miserable, severely outdated 1970s - grade conditions, cramped rooms, and thin walls. The property entirely lacked the modern quality standard and the food is the worst we ever had from everywhere in the world we have travelled so far.
We had paid £5401 for a standard room for a couple and a child with all inclusive services for 14 nights; the room had clean sheets and nice cleaner services was on a daily basis, but the room itself looked awful. An old TV, not even a smart TV as a 4 star hotel does have this expectaction, probably last refurbishment was 30 years ago, very old and rotten furniture, face towels were not towels, were just simple cloths, ants everywhere in the cupboards, our clothes and personal belongings, suitcases, on the table, in the drawers, everywhere. When staff were called to the room to see the problem, they started spraying around the room and over our things, in front of us and advice us to leave the room for 5 minutes..... Horrible!
The main problem was the food, horrible, tasteless, poor quality and cold ingredients, dirty fruits, insects on the food ocassionaly and if you travel for 14 nights in a place like that, imagine how it was.
We complained in day 3 to TUI, the manager director talked to us and said it will get improved and to give her some more days as we just arrived...Well, nothing changed. Just a little warmer food and a note on the table where the fruits were (at my advice she took when I told her about it day before, to put a note so people to know to wash their fruits in the bowls provided with water before eating) - a disaster!
Everything was very poor quality, from breakfast to dinner! I have never seen a boiled egg and the cook who was making omlettes in just one pan (this was the only one he had), imagine the queue for people waiting for it and the taste, was again, horrible. Sausages again, tasteless. All you could have in the mornings, was a lovely yogurt (2 varieties) and toast with butter, some cereals and fruits. For a 4-star hotel, you need to offer variety to the guest as people are paying for it, it was not free. Lunch and dinner, not many varieties, the pizzas I presented in the photos already. Cold meat, fish, tasteless or overcooked meat and vegetables, you didn't even had all ingredients to have a nice salad, just all very cheap quality ingredients in absolutely everything. Never a soup and when we asked the manager about soups, she replied to us "it is too hot outside to cook soup" but was kind to ask my brother in law to type her on her own computer a soup recipe, maybe chef could make one. Fantastic statement!
And in desserts, only very poor quality of icecream in 3 varieties and in the evenings only desserts that I didn't even tried, tarts with squishy creams and looked awful to me. Only one time, they had tiramisu in 14 nights we stayed there.
And the list can continue to the drinks and cocktails varieties, again, poor and cheap quality wines and other cocktails, I tried 2 and did not needed again. Not to say about the services on the beach, that was not free at all and if you wanted something in all inclusive terms, you was supposed to come back to the bar from hotel, a short walk but not so short.
Being all inclusive, not all drinks were free and water was £3 a bottle of 1 litre where in supermarkets costs 0.35 eurocent a bottle of 1.5L.
Another aspect, of the "resort", as being so isolated, no restaurants or shops nearby, this is another and the last drop in the glass, that, itself the resort was supposed to make everything to be worthing to paying guests to make them feel good in there, not to leave such bad impression. We rented a car and took a taxi one time, to go and eat outside this place and feel we were in Italy and eat a proper italian food.
For us, this was the most poor and miserable and most expensive holiday we had in the last 15 years, considering we travelled to some many other 4 or 5 stars hotels in the world and we know very well the difference.
Considering the money we had paid, we were extremely dissapointed per whole holiday we had planned, paid and hoped to get a great experience. Unfortunately, it was not so. I would rate this hotel a maximum of 3 stars and probably worths a half of the money we paid for the services we received.
