Boutique Hotel Capo Blu

"​Disappointing Stay – Poor Layout, Closed Pools, and No Space for 3 Adults ​We recently stayed at Boutique Capo Blu, and while the staff were lovely, the overall setup and lack of transparency made for a frustrating experience. ​Pool Closures & Strange Layout The biggest disappointment was arriving to find the main pool closed on September 20th—something we were never informed about when booking. To make matters worse, the small pool was also completely out of order. ​The hotel’s configuration is very odd. The central area is an open, four-walled courtyard containing the bar and the non-functional small pool, surrounded by bedroom patio doors. Because of the surrounding walls, there are zero views. Breakfast was served in this courtyard, but the food layout made no sense: pastries were kept on the bar counter outside, while inside by reception, one area held cereals and cold meats, and another held hot food and toast. Constantly walking between three separate areas just to get breakfast was unnecessarily awkward. ​Inconvenient Access & Lack of Privacy Reaching our room required walking back out of the main entrance, up a flight of steps, through a gate, and in through a sliding patio door. This patio door served as both our only entrance and our only window. ​Outdoors, our personal space was practically non-existent (barely a foot square) with nowhere to hang wet beach towels or swimwear. Right next to us, three other rooms shared an open outdoor area, offering virtually no privacy. ​Cramped "Superior" Room Having booked a "Triple Superior Room," we expected a generous space for three adult ladies. Instead, the room was roughly 14ft x 14ft with no functional area to store or open our suitcases. To top it off, the bathroom was a mere foot away from the bed. The layout felt incredibly claustrophobic for three adults. ​Location & Staff On a positive note, the hotel staff were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. ​However, you must be aware that the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. A car is absolutely essential. The nearest town, Pula, is about a 20-minute drive away. While there are great beaches in the surrounding area, you cannot access them or any amenities without driving. ​Verdict Unless you just need a base and plan to drive elsewhere all day, the strange layout, cramped "superior" rooms, and unexpected facility closures make it hard to recommend."

"Hotel located in a secluded area far from populated centers but close to the most beautiful beaches. You always need a car to get around. Apart from these aspects, everything else is simply perfection. Rooms furnished with taste, extremely romantic, are always clean and smell good. Super breakfast, and if that weren't enough, the staff is very kind, nice, and helpful. Highly recommended"

"We stayed from 08/13/26 to 08/20/26 in this magical place; the white and blue of the hotel and the rooms made us feel completely relaxed. Essential rooms, quiet area, and strategic location. The WONDERFUL girls, beautiful, smiling, kind, and efficient. Thanks to all of you for your availability and for making us feel like we were on vacation.
