Hotel Le Mimose

"Apparently modern structure. Unfortunately, we ended up with one of the non-renovated rooms; despite this, it was still comfortable except for the lack of hooks in the bathroom for the shower towels and for the "terrace" with a view of nothing. The real sore point is the restaurant service, which is served and not buffet-style. The first evening no one warned us that drinks were not included in the half-board, we only realized it because the waiter asked us if we preferred a bottle of wine or glasses. We asked for a bottle but there was no wine list, nor were we told the price of the bottle that was served to us. Appetizer, side dish, and dessert are the same for everyone; you only have the choice between two first courses and two second courses. There are no typical foods, the menus consist of: pasta with tomato sauce and pesto, trofie with clams (which we sent back because they tasted spoiled with all the water underneath without even having bound the pasta to the sauce), fusilli with salmon, or saffron risotto. The second courses were "tagliata" of meat, scaloppine. The breakfast buffet was rich but with dry and old pastries from the day before (it's okay that we are at the end of the season but....). When paying for the room, we discovered that even water was not included in the half-board. I want to put in a good word for the staff who, despite some flaws, are still helpful and kind."

"We spent the week of Ferragosto in this historic hotel in San Teodoro, a truly pleasant stay with half-board. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations after the change in management; our Superior room had been recently renovated, modern, spacious, comfortable with a large bathroom with a window, a very large shower, a minibar, and an outdoor terrace equipped with a table, chairs, and a convenient drying rack. The hotel's location is excellent both for reaching the center of San Teodoro and for traveling to the beautiful beaches in the area. Breakfast service is offered poolside with a buffet formula, while dinner is in the restaurant dining room. Choice of 3 first courses and 3 second courses, in addition to the appetizer and the Chef's desserts. In one week, we really enjoyed the Sardinian Night and the Fish Night. All the dishes were truly excellent! The parking is also convenient for those traveling by car. In the property's gardens, there are also some play areas for children. Overall, it was an absolutely positive experience...Sardinia never disappoints!!!! ;) RECOMMENDED!"

"Small hotel located on the main road a stone's throw from the center, absolute convenience with restaurants, supermarkets, and a pharmacy nearby. Staff always helpful and kind, they quickly resolved small problems, ample parking even if on dirt, excellent breakfast, and comfortable rooms."
