Hotel Maria Rosaria

"So to start this hotel is in a lovely location, within walking distance distance to restaurants and bars. On-site parking The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is very clean throughout, the cleaners do a wonderful job here! The room itself is perfectly adequate. A decent size bed though the mattress quality isn’t great , but it was okay. There is a TV but it is not a smart TV. There is really good pressure in the shower and the bathroom itself is a fair size. No USB charging sockets just traditional sockets. A fair amount of wardrobe space and a clean balcony with table chairs and drying rack was nice. The walls are very thin, so this is not a quiet hotel if you are a light sleeper. The pool area is lovely, plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas and a decent size pool. It’s all kept very clean. What lets this hotel down is its restaurant. The staff in the restaurant are not very good. They do not greet you, they do not tell you where to go or what todo. The first night we did not realise that wine and water is included with half board. The reception staff explained this to us the following day when we asked. Breakfast was ok, they offered what would be expected with a fair selection. However, when things run out staff were not filling them up, no tables were laid, noo one came to ask what drink you would like. Dinner was pretty poor, not much selection and desert was one small piece of cheap opera cake. I would not waste money on half board again here, I would go into the local town and have something from one of the restaurants there. Overall, not a bad hotel, lovely pool, but definitely needs work in the restaurant area."

"Beautiful hotel with amazing pool. This hotel was spotlessly clean! Plenty of sun beds around the pool. Room had everything we needed, cleaners did an excellent job. Restaurant joined to hotel. Delicious pizzas, breakfast offered was the same each day. A wide selection from cereal, scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon, fruit, cakes and yoghurt. Ingredients stated next to sweet treats which was good for me as I have an allergy but sadly I could not eat them due to containing nuts. Every member of staff we met were smiling, friendly and helpful. Only downside is that you can hear the water and flush from other rooms so if you are a light sleeper it might be a problem. Also you walk through the restaurant to reach the pool but middle of the day the door is locked so you have to walk through the car park. Not the best walk through. This hotel is approximately 1 hour from airport so taxi arranged by hotel cost us €260 Big shoutout to Sarah, Delilia and Thomas who are doing a great job representing the hotel. Lovely train ride to the beach and back, ask at the reception desk for details."

"Beautiful, spacious room. Super clean. Large bathroom and wonderful shower. Nice swimming pool. Breakfast has a few points for improvement: coffee, juices, and the lack of brown bread and yogurt."
