A relaxed seaside pad
Set near La Caletta on Sardinia’s east coast, this is a great pick if you like your holidays sunny, easy-going and a little bit scenic. The resort is in San Giovanni di Posada, close to both La Caletta and Posada, with sandy beaches, pine forests and that lovely slower-paced feel this corner of the island does so well. It’s a handy base for mixing beach days with boat trips, coastal drives and wanders through Posada’s hilltop old town when you fancy a little local colour.
Back at the resort, it’s friendly and low-fuss, with a small-village layout that keeps everything easy to get around. There’s a swimming pool at the centre of the action, plus a tennis court and table tennis if you’re feeling energetic, while bikes are available to rent for exploring more of the coast and countryside. The nearby beach adds even more reason to get outdoors.
The restaurant serves Sardinian and Mediterranean dishes made with local ingredients, many from the resort’s own farm, and there’s a bar for easy drinks in between. For an extra taste of the region, guests can also dine at the nearby agriturismo on selected evenings. This is a smart shout for a Sardinia break with beach access, local flavour and a nicely laid-back rhythm.
Just so you know, the beach is around a five-minute walk from the hotel. There's a dedicated area on the beach for guests, complete with umbrellas, deck chairs and sunbeds available to reserve for an extra charge.
