"The maître at the restaurant acts like he's the king of the place, but not in a good way. Bossy and likes to tell guests off. Had a terrible experience trying to accommodate my group at the restaurant, that ended as soon as the maître decided he needed to make me and my friends embarassed before other guests. I've taken this to the attention of the hotel director, but I'm not sure whether this has been taken seriously - never got any feedback from her after our report."

"Stayed 5 days on a coach holiday. Lovely place. Has a fabulous swimming pool and 2 minute walk to their private beach, though it's really more of a lagoon. Not sure why other reviews have described it as outdated - it's deliberately built in that style, with rows of rooms like little cottages with very thick walls to keep out the heat, as well as having very effective air con. Rooms have a fridge, but not tea and coffee making. As a group we had a set meal of 4 courses, though they did cater for vegetarians and provided alternatives if someone really didn't like something. Food overall was good and plentiful. Breakfast buffet had everything, including cooked food, and was excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly. Though it didn't matter much to us, it is rather in the middle of nowhere, with no local village etc to walk to, or even a bus very easily."

"This remote hotel IS NOT a four star it needs a full renovation, we took 150 photographs of the problems at this hotel. Very limited menu and very expensive. Numerous problems with our bill “overcharged” so ended up paying our bill daily. Massive mole hills all over the gardens, we were told they were caused by wild boars! They have 2 to 3 coach parties each night meaning they got priority over the small bar and dinning room, so we had to go in the horrible marquee that was dark and very old with a miserable head waiter. These coach clients made loud noises when leaving in a morning. The only good thing we could say was the cleaners did a good job but can only do what they could with the horrible dated rooms!!!!!"
