"My 13 days at Blu Hotel Morisco were truly unforgettable! I travel a lot, but this was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. A special thank you to Marina, Maria, Fabiola, Antonella and Olga at reception for always welcoming me with a smile and making me feel at home. The restaurant team was wonderful, and the food was spectacular, with an excellent variety of vegetables, proteins and desserts. Roberto, from Brazil, made me feel at home by speaking Portuguese with me, while Carlos, from Colombia, was so thoughtful that he always remembered my water with lemon at breakfast and dinner. Thank you also to the breakfast ladies, the talented pastry chef, the kitchen team responsible for my daily protein portions, and the head waiter, whose organisation, dedication and professionalism truly impressed me. At the bar, Nickolas, Simone and Shaima made my evenings special. Nickolas prepared my favourite Dry Martini and even helped me practise my Italian! I often stayed longer simply because I enjoyed their company so much. The hotel also offers comfortable, clean rooms, parking, a swimming pool, a gym and a beautiful beach just three minutes away on foot. What makes this hotel exceptional is not only the food or the facilities, but its people. As a woman travelling alone, I felt so welcomed that I left feeling I had made friends, not just met hotel employees. To the entire team: I see how hard you work, and your dedication and kindness do not go unnoticed. You made my 13 days in Sardinia truly special and raised my expectations of hospitality. "A couple of positives about this hotel. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sun loungers that don’t get reserved early in the morning. Most of the staff are pleasant. Our room was kept clean and had nice quality towels and bed linen. The disappointing elements were the bed was very uncomfortable, sun loungers were more comfortable! The food was generally very poor! There was a very limited choice available and the quality was well below anything I’ve ever experienced, even the pasta dishes were poor! I don’t see how this can be a 4 star hotel. The desserts however were pretty good. One morning coffee was being served in juice glasses as they didn’t have any cups, this was early in the morning too. There isn’t enough seating available outside for an evening drink, people were sitting on sun loungers as there just wasn’t enough room. Didn’t think the resort was that great and the beach was underwhelming. Tried to make the best of a bad holiday choice but most definitely wouldn’t recommend."
