"We are a family of 5 who stayed here for 6 nights at Easter. We had a Deluxe double room with balcony, and also a junior suite. The junior suite was excellent, lots of room, and so spacious, a nice luxury for two or three people. The Deluxe double room was a bit disappointing, we had just enough room to walk between the bottom of the bed, and the wall. Admittedly, on one photo on the website it does show it as this, but it also shows in another picture, with 5 times as much room between the bottom of the bed, and the wall, and it was this one I had taken note of.
The staff were particularly friendly, Kingsley on reception was great, on day 1. And other staff were as friendly. One lady - a Filipino lady maybe - was absolutely amazing, and was a credit to the hotel, she made our breakfast experience 10 out of 10 every single morning. She always remembered our order from the day before, and was just so friendly and accommodating. We also saw her mopping the floor and doing other jobs later on in the day, she really is an asset to the hotel.
The breakfast wasn’t a buffet, but there was a selection to choose from, albeit there was no variety from day to day. The hotel isn’t a purpose-built one, but is still reasonably spacious, pand there's plenty to do nearby. The colosseum is about 25 minutes’ walk, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. It’s a minutes’ walk from the ‘Spanish Steps’, and there’s a taxi rank at the top of the Spanish steps as well.
A great hotel, a shame that the view from the balcony is just of other balconies, it was far from a ‘city view’, but it is what it is. Thank you to the staff, who made this a great stay."
