Mas Boutique Hotel Rome

"I am warning all travelers about this hotel. During my stay in room 201, luxury jewelry (3 Hermes bracelets) was stolen from my suitcase. The room safe was broken and unusable, so I had no way to secure my valuables. The hotel entrance is often left open to the street and the reception is not staffed 24/7. The management is extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. They even tried to bypass Booking.com by asking for cash payment on-site. The selective nature of the theft proves it happened in the room, not during transit. The matter is now under official police investigation (Case No. KRPS-70156-4/TC-2026-*****). Booking.com already provided a partial refund due to the hotel's lack of cooperation. Do not stay here if you value your safety and belongings."

"It doesn’t have a minus 1 otherwise I would have used that. 2 weeks before we are due to check in you send a text first welcoming us to Rome🤷🏻‍♀️ then asking if we would like to cancel our reservation made via Expedia and rebook with you at a lower rate. When we refused you deleted your message and sent another message saying you had cancelled our reservation due to being over booked. We had made our reservation in February 2025. You then proceeded to ignore our messages. I don’t t understand how you are allowed to operate what is clearly a racket! If there is a code of conduct in the hotel industry you fail miserably! You should be ashamed of yourselves!"

"Fantastic staff who helped out with restaurant bookings and recommendations and any other service we requested. The room was great, very clean and very quiet during the night. Breakfast was served in the room which was ok. This is a small boutique hotel without a large hotel reception, its situated on 2nd floor within a large building. Fantastic location and I can highly recommend this Boutique hotel."
