Hotel Atelier 800

"Hard to even call this a hotel and definitely not a Boutique Hotel. The manager messaged via What's App multiple times the morning of our arrival to find out when we'd arrive (original ETA 3-4PM). When our arrival was later than expected at 5PM (airport delays, traffic) he messaged additional times. The reason? No one's on-site. He was nearly frantic when we arrived, rudely rattling off a list of instructions and codes---just what you want to have to remember after a long trip. An easy solution would have been to email us the access code and entrance instructions. Once we got in the room, we were even more disappointed. Room was too tiny for luggage, no place to unpack, and bathroom had no shelf or counters. Checkout is 10:30AM and if you want to store your bags any later, you're allowed to leave them in an unsecured and unwatched hallway."

"Super convenient place to stay. Super clean and met all necessities for a nice stay. Dariel did a great job helping us out and giving us great recommendations and tips to stay in the area. It is a boutique hotel so it didnt have an abundance of amenities but I didnt need any frills because Rome had so much to do. Great value for the price. "

"Can’t say enough about hotel atelier and the lovely staff. Our stay was perfect, for such a busy trip having a clean, comfy, air conditioned room to come back to after activities made all the difference. The hotel staff are beyond lovely and you can whatsapp them throughout the stay with any queries. It is not a traditional hotel and there is no 24/hour reception or restaurant, just a collection of rooms on the 3rd floor of a building. We also found the location ideal and if we return to Rome we will be booking back with this hotel!"
