"You Budapest – Handwritten Collection, Budapest: With much excitement, we checked into new kid on the block You Budapest after being on the road on stretch. Proper shower, proper bed, gym, washer/dryer, hot brekkie and modern amenities were all we looked forward to. The design is great – stylish lines, perky colours and premium comfort. Our room was spacious with the modern trappings – colossal TV, USBC charger, stylish fittings and furniture. The letdowns are no fridge in room, no kettle (you can request for one and it’s subject to availability) and our shower door had a tear in the rubber seal so a pool of water forms outside the door which I nearly slipped. We had to clean up the pool after every shower. We were too tired to switch rooms. Also, housekeeping doesn’t replenish. Shower gel ran out by the 4th day. No other amenities replaced. Some perky notes – breakfast is gorgeous. If you opt for it the day before, it’s 15 Euros PP. We loved the cauliflower with melted cheese and crumbed mushroom. Dine in the spacious courtyard in summer – it’s a beautiful experience as you hear birds chirp. There is a good gym with state-of-the-art TechnoGym equipment – I appreciated this. Washer/dryer was a tad expensive 10 euros per machine. Double the price of the laundromats out there. There’s a cinema in the basement which I thought was odd. As it was my son’s birthday, the General Manager did a service recovery with 3 pieces of chocolates sent to our room which we appreciated. There were some irks but we enjoyed the modern comforts of You Budapest. #eatstylishtravelstylish"

"Well located, 2 minutes walking for a bus stop and 7 minutes walking from the metro. Our room was spacious, comfortable beds - bunk beds for the kids 🙌🏻 so no arguments he/she is pulling my covers.. 🤩 Bathroom with amenities and a very good hairdryer! Microwave and small fridge also available in the room. Breakfast was plentiful - Hungarian food (hot and cold), cakes, cereals, cheese, bread, yogurt, juices, coffee and hot chocolate. Staff were brilliant, helpful & welcoming. Small gym with nice well maintained equipments, washing machine and dryer also available 🥰 There was cinema - the days we were there, Harry Potter series were being shown We would go back and recommend the hotel! mrsivyhyde"

"What a delightful place to stay. Wonderfully renovated and modern to the littlest detail. Our room had a queen bed and bunk beds so perfect for a family of four. We walked every where we wanted to go, so centrally located. Located near several smaller, side street cafes. They offer a restaurant, but the food was not to our liking."
