"Sorry this is a late review. I stayed at this hotel for three nights from the 12th October to the 15th. This was my first time visiting Budapest and Hungary. I honestly had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this hotel. Fairly easy to get to and location is really great. Situated on the Buda side, there's plenty to do and few attractions are within walking distances. You are only a 10-15 minute walk from The Chain Bridge which takes you over to the Pest side. Even if you don't want to walk.. the hotel has good links to public transport which will help you find your way in and round the city. I felt very welcome by the staff. The staff were very helpful and informative on the history and location of the hotel. Apologies I cannot remember the gentlemans name but when we checked on the 12th.. he was very polite, welcoming and enthusiastic in meeting and greeting us. The hotel was quiet (wasn't loud during the evenings) very clean and food was also good. I would like to thank all staff for making my visit a pleasant one. I'd personally visit Budapest again (as I didn't get round to doing everything in three days) and would stay at this same hotel. Cannot recommend the hotel enough, easy decision for me and an easy review to make and that is due to the great customer service we had experienced."

"Absolutely fantastic stay, the hotel was gorgeous and the suite I had was next level fancy, the location is great as you are in a very quiet area so sleep was never an issue - the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful, absolutely amazing service - - not once did we ever need to ask for new towels or the room to be made, the place also smells amazing! My only nitpick I would have is to update the TVs but that’s it"

"Back to this fabulous city and the Monastery Hotel yet again. Every time I’m in Budapest, this hotel is the first place I look for a room. Excellent location — restaurants, shops and transport are all within a 5 minute walk. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. But most of all, the staff are ever so friendly, helpful and always smiling. I love staying here."
