K + K Hotel Opera

"Old rooms, stained carpets, stained ceramics, everything feels unaesthetic and old, the rooms are at a hostel level. The team service is not good - an order for 2 rooms for parents and children, they split us on separate floors"

"This was a lovely hotel. Situated right next to the Hungarian State Opera House, we found ourselves in a wonderful location. The staff was wonderful, breakfasts were great and the dining area was perfect for a snack and a drink. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The hotel was not clean, and the overall attitude and treatment from some of the staff were poor. The only exception was the manager, who was professional and respectful. I especially want to mention a staff member named Fanny. My experience dealing with Fanny was extremely disappointing. Fanny was not welcoming, her attitude was unfriendly, and her communication with guests was, in my experience, unprofessional and disrespectful. For a customer-facing position, being welcoming, polite, professional, and able to deal respectfully with guests is essential. Unfortunately, Fanny showed none of these qualities during our interaction. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend employing Fanny in any customer-facing or hospitality role. I believe she would be a negative addition to any place where dealing professionally and respectfully with customers is important. Her unfriendly manner and lack of professionalism can seriously damage the guest experience and the reputation of the business she represents. Hotel management should seriously review Fanny’s conduct and suitability for a position involving direct interaction with guests. Overall, the poor cleanliness and especially the treatment we received from Fanny made our stay very disappointing."
