"This is on a fantastic location if you are happy to walk a little way (10 minutes) to get to the closest trams and shops - the view from the rooms overlooking the river onto Margarit Island are wonderful. Many of the photos on other reviews seem to be of a luxury room. Our room was fairly small and basic, almost cramped. The boat is on two levels. The buffet breakfast is very good with yoghurts, pastries, fruit, cold meat and cheeses and hot sausages, scrambled egg and beans. Negatives are that stairs between the levels are steep and narrow, noise from people on the top of the boat can be very noisy for the rooms on the upper deck and the walls of the rooms are quite thin making noise travel easily between rooms."

"Excellent few days. We stayed on the Fortuna Boat Hotel which was excellent. Make sure you get a superior room. We had dinner in Gundel which is a fantastic experience. The thermal baths and the Fisherman's Bastion are excellent."
