"I do feel bad rating this only 3 stars as there was a lot to like about it, so I’ll start with the good bits. The location is great. Close to bus stops in what seems to be a calmer area of the city on the Buda side. It’s an easy walk to the castle area and the chain bridge, and the transport links to other tourist areas were easy. It was a bit odd on arrival as we’d received no instruction on how to get in, but we were able to reach the owners on WhatsApp pretty quickly. The room itself was very nice and everything seemed very new/recently renovated. There was plenty of room, it was nicely decorated, the bathroom was nice, it was clean and there was a smart TV. We didn’t pay for breakfast in advance as we thought we’d prefer to find different places to eat, but the Oda restaurant downstairs had a really nice menu and great coffee, and we did eat there every morning. Unfortunately, Oda was the main problem with this place, however nice the food and drink might have been. We had no idea that they were open late as a bar/restaurant with loud music, and we would not have stayed in what we expected would be a quiet location if we had known. On for two of the three nights we were there, the extremely loud music went on into the early hours. On one night we got in late ourselves, after midnight, and the music continued until around 4am. The other night we went to bed early as we were so tired from lack of sleep the previous night, and again it was around 1am when it stopped. We left our short break in Budapest exhausted from being kept awake all night be still trying to fit in the tourism we wanted to do. I think the room being above the Oda kitchen also made it uncomfortably warm. It didn’t feel like the aircon was doing much, and the bathroom sometimes had smells from the kitchen coming through. It was very warm at night, and since it was so loud we couldn’t open the window. Again, I am sorry to rate this place only 3 stars when it would be 5 without the heat and music from the kitchen, but it had such an impact on our trip that I can’t score it higher. Maybe this place would be more suited to people who want to join the party, but we had other plans for our trip."

"Important to note that it s self check in - out,no reception. The staff were really nice Food was good- 1 dish,1 cold drink,1 hot drink At night it might be noisy because it s close to the road. If you re parking during weekdays on the street(you can only park on the street)you need to pay until 10 pm from 8 am But on weekends it s free"

"Lovely place, great location. Rooms very clean and such a comfortable bed , with crisp white linen. Great view of Budapest, both night and day. Very quiet in the evening Close to all transport links , and excellent restaurant in the same courtyard"
