Agape Apartments

"Hotel review Highly recommended… for experiencing a horror story. We stayed as a group of eight, divided into 2 rooms for 4 on the same floor. The rooms have poor soundproofing, both on the street side, which faces a street with nightclubs, and inside, where you can hear everything that happens in the building. Cleanliness is nonexistent, dust everywhere, grapes on the floor, the shower and bathroom infested with ants, and the few dishes available for the kitchen remained as dirty as they had been left by the previous guests. In one of the two rooms, the air conditioner did not work, and the ones that did work sprayed water onto the street, offering the chance to take a nice shower in the open air as soon as you stepped out the building's door. We were given one large towel each and nothing else. 15 minutes after our check-in, a bed broke simply by us sitting on it, as it was a relic of a sofa with a cardboard frame whose backrest had been used as a mattress; the reception did not answer calls or messages from us guests or from our agency, so we were forced to sleep on the floor. The next day they brought a cot, took the sheets off the floor and put them on this other bed; obviously, changing them was not an option. On the third day they fixed the bed; needless to say, it tilted just by touching it. At three in the morning, a group of drunk men started knocking violently on one of our rooms, then lay down in front of the door, preventing it from opening; scared, we contacted the reception bot asking for the security number, which apparently was sleeping or playing on the phone without realizing what was happening in the hallways of the building. The only positive note is the proximity to the subway stop; otherwise, it was a nightmare stay."

"Room was ok ish ..floor was very dirty..we had an invasion of ants reported it to reception nothing was done..couple of men fighting in there room one night too.. reported it to Jet2 they said they would look into it..I don't think they will"

"Ill start with the few pros of this hotel/apartment..location wise its well placed for supermarkets, the parliament building etc burger king and several restaurants all on one road. Spacious apartment with cooking area and decent sized room we also got a really small balcony which the kids enjoyed Now for the cons...first the noise! Even 4 floors up we were disturbed all night long by banging, people shouting, screaming smashing bottles cars speeding and revving up and down literally all night long! Bin men come at 5am too and are obviously very noisy too not to mention the air con was really noisy even when it was switched off! The windows were very thinly glazed so they offered zero respite from the noise at all! On arrival at 1am in fhe morning we were greeted by a doorman who was very grumpy, abrupt and rude who who told us we had to pay the city tax in cash before we got our room key! We had no cash it was 1am and we had 2 very tired children, he finally relented and made a call and fhen gave us the key albeit unwillingly No cleaning was done our entire 4 day stay not even fresh towels or bins emptied! Wouldn't recommend staying here at all especially if you are in a family or a light sleeper!"
