"The property is beautiful. The rooms are well-furnished and everything is very quiet. The property is remote and it will be difficult without a car, as the taxis do not come for a trip to Vasilikos. Staff 90% friendly. Staff at breakfast very arrogant and also rude. We were satisfied on the whole, but expected more. The breakfast buffet by no means corresponds to a 5-star hotel. Everything cold and no variety. Also, the room for breakfast is much too small and there is chaos. Coffee must be ordered and sometimes takes up to 10 minutes to be served. The egg dishes are consistently cold. (Scrambled eggs, fried eggs, omelets, etc.) No chance to get warm food. Extremely disappointing. We cannot judge the main restaurant. We ate at the pool bar. Food good but portions too small and way too expensive. The drinks are also at the price level of Switzerland. Beer 8 Euros, glass of wine 9 Euros. The employees try extremely hard but cannot cover up the weak points either. Our thanks go to Solomon. Great guy, extremely customer-friendly. The beach as well as the lounge chairs are very good and beautiful. The staff at the reception is very helpful; they arranged transportation for us through colleagues to the surrounding taverns. Conclusion. We would not choose this hotel again at this price."
