Zante Pantheon Hotel

"Wow! This hotel has had an amazing upgrade, and is now recognised as a 4 star hotel. When we arrived on 1st May we were taken by suprise that we were the first arrivals this season, and that we were the first to experience the newly renovated bedroom we were given. Everything in it was newly purchased, and included extras such as free air con, free safe, free WiFi, complimentary water in fridge, toothbrush, shaving set, shower gels, iron and board, tea and coffee facilities and even a set of scales in the bathroom. The towels (new) were changed every day, bed every two days. Demitris, who welcomed us ( son of the owners) has thought of everything and has invested heavily in the hotel. The breakfast/ bar area has bespoke units in. While we were there, new chairs for the breakfast/ dining room arrived, superb quality furniture. The reception has had building work completed as well. The outside seating area was completed for last season and is superb, but the new upgrades compliment the now 4 stars. The online photos posted by previous visitors do not do it justice, so I have added updated ones. Demitris, Thankyou for a wonderful stay, you were so kind and helpful, and your vision for the hotel is wonderful. If walking into town, it's 250m down to the main road, there is no path, a right turn takes you in, where you can walk up to 25 mins to the furthest restaurants. However there are plenty to choose from if you don't want to go too far. A taxi back costs 10 euros."

"After being dropped of at the bottom of the steep slope.We made our way to Reception.We were checked in by Yiannis and directed to our room 401 .This was in the second block,on the first floor. No lift but not too many stairs . You do have to navigate around the pool first though. The room was lovely with a safe and included .The room also had a small fridge. The balcony had a table & chairs with a gorgeous sea view . We were on half board. The breakfast was buffet but enough choices in our opinion .Katerina was usually in charge in the mornings.Making sure everything was running smoothly. Each evening meal consisted of Bread,Water, a different salad.First,Mains and a desert, Two choices,Some days We never had the full meal, as it was too much for us.We found it good value for money.It was all delicious.The cocktails were yummy.Our favourite was The Pantheon though. Lunch portion aare also big ,so we used to share. George and Chris who serve and will get you any drinks when you are around the pool,with a smile. The atmosphere is chilled vibe and more for older clientele there is no entertainment,just background music during the day.This suited us.The atmosphere was very friendly with lots of returners.Its has a small pool with sunbeds.These are cleaned every morning around 8am. The hotel is spotless and the cleaners whose names has completely slipped my mind ,sorry . work really hard to keep it clean. This hotel is a hidden gem.It is worth the walk. . Dimitris keeps an eye during the day. . If you need anything you just ask and they will try and help. This is a family run Hotel and you can tell by the high standards. Thank you all for a relaxing stay. We will be back."

"This hotel is lovely, very clean inside and outside! In a lovely location, away from the centre of Tsilivi, no noise and very relaxing. The staff can’t do enough for you, always there to help with anything to make your holiday the best! The rooms are lovely and spotlessly clean! A huge choice of food at breakfast. Restaurant is open for lunch and evening meals, great choices on the menu and large portions! Lovely pool and beautiful sun beds. Can’t recommend this hotel enough!"
