Athlos Hotel

"The room is not that clean, bathroom is old and dirty, they seperate us in rooms at diffrent floor's. Breakfast with no vegetable at all, very poor choice. The staff were very nice but this is not enough for long stay.. Go there only if you need be next to the airport.."

"We made a reservation for 3 nights, paid in advanced, 2 adults and 1 year old baby. We choise a big room, asked for a double bed and a cote for the baby, 22 m2. When we arrived in the evening, tired and with a crying baby, the receptionist showed me the room 108, a small room with bunk beds. How can I sleep with a baby in a bunk bed? I asked to change the room, the receptionist said she does not have any. She kept calling the manager, I asked to speak with the manager, she did not want to. She said she will refund the money and I should cancel in Booking. I told them that booking will only refund £7 and I will loose the £250 . Receptionist promised they will sort it with Booking. The next day I got the refund from Booking, £7. I went to Athlos again, they lied again, that they will contact Booking. I called the Police, showed them the evidence, they believed me but had nothing to do. So they advised to file a complain to the Head Quarter police. Total incompetents working in this hotel, they have no knowledge and no will to sort tourist’s problems. I lost £250, had to pay another £320 to book another hotel last minute, lost hours from my time and maney on taxi back and forth to speak to these idiots. Avoid like all costs, scam"

"Checked in late night as we had a late arrival! I was shocked that they ranked this a 4 star hotel! Breakfast was cold and definitely not a 4 star. Parking facility available. Very uncomfortable beds and poor quality linen! Not worth the money! But I must say the receptionist at the night check in was a friendly guy who even offered us to order food via his personal phone app. Except that I wouldn’t recommend this place! "
