"From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was something truly special. I honestly don’t believe there’s a better view of the caldera anywhere in Santorini, but what makes this hotel exceptional goes far beyond the breathtaking scenery.
We stayed in the private balcony pool suite, and it exceeded every expectation. The room was absolutely stunning, and the private pool overlooking the caldera created views that simply didn’t seem real. We all joked the view “looked like a green screen”. Ending each evening overlooking the water are memories our family will cherish forever.
Peter welcomed us like family after nearly a full day of travel. We arrived to an impeccably clean room, chilled wine waiting for us, and fresh-pressed apple juice for our daughter. He shared the history of the island and recommended places we shouldn’t miss, making us feel at home from the very beginning.
Every morning we enjoyed a beautifully presented, delicious breakfast, and our room was kept spotless throughout our stay. The staff even carried our heavy luggage to and from our suite with a smile.
What impressed us most was the genuine kindness of everyone here. When our daughter became a little seasick after a fishing trip, Peter and Mary checked on her later that day. When our transfer didn’t arrive on departure day, Gitti (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly) stayed with us, arranged another driver, and had us on our way within minutes. Before we left, Mary surprised my daughter and me with beautiful hotel tote bags. It was such a thoughtful gesture and the perfect keepsake from an unforgettable stay.
We spent nine days traveling throughout Greece and staying on multiple islands, and the hospitality and beauty we experienced here was unmatched. The incredible views, unforgettable room, and exceptional staff made this the highlight of our trip. It was truly a bucket-list experience, and one our family will remember for the rest of our lives."
