Andromeda Villas And Suites

"Disappointing stay – the 4 stars are incomprehensible to us The location of the hotel is excellent. Otherwise, however, we cannot understand the numerous positive reviews and the five-star rating. Overall, the hotel seems neglected, partly run-down, and not particularly clean. We had booked a family suite with two bedrooms and a whirlpool in the Executive Club. Unfortunately, both the pool area and the terrace were unkempt, unclean, and designed without any love. Parasols were lying on the ground and were not set up by the staff. The cushions on the loungers were in such poor condition that one hardly wanted to lie on them. The breakfast was very simple, which in principle would not have been a problem for us. However, there was only drip coffee from a dirty coffee machine. Other coffee specialties were apparently not readily available. Furthermore, we were not informed that one can order fried eggs and similar dishes directly in the kitchen. Upon our request for an espresso, we received a small drip coffee instead. For a hotel of this category, that is disappointing. Our terrace with a hot tub also did not meet our expectations. There was neither a roof nor any other way to create shade. When we asked for a sun umbrella and an additional chair, since there were four of us, we were told that no portable sun umbrellas were available. It also seemed that an additional chair could not be provided for us. The clear difference between the pictures published online and the actual situation on site was particularly disappointing. The photos on social media now cause us more bewilderment than enthusiasm. Apparently, professional photography and image editing can make a significant difference. Conclusion: The location is excellent, but overall the stay disappointed us greatly. For us, this hotel ranks among the worst accommodations where we have vacationed so far. From our perspective, the price-performance ratio is not right at all. We would not book the hotel a second time and cannot recommend it based on our experiences."

"This hotel was recommended by our wedding planner for our commitment ceremony so we decided to stay here as well which made everything easy. Our jr suite was in a perfect location directly up a few steps from the pool , bar , restaurant Ceremony area and lobby . Clean and comfortable"

"The view is the only positive note. With one glance you can take in the entire caldera and the sunset spectacle is truly remarkable. As for the rest, it just doesn't work. Meanwhile, the location is quite critical because it is at the end of a street heavily trafficked by vans and it is impossible to park except at a considerable walking distance. Contrary to what was declared, there is no parking of its own. Then, information, absolutely lacking on the site, the property is totally unsuitable for people with mobility problems or in advanced age: from our room, despite being able to use an elevator for a short stretch, there were 185 steps down and 185 steps up. The room (I had booked a superior sea view) was different from the one illustrated on the site (therefore on this point too your information was unreliable): in essence, it was a small cave, with a modestly sized bed placed at the back, in a dark area far from the door and the only window, makeshift furnishings starting with the very uncomfortable mattress and a gray velvet sofa bed completely foreign to a marine setting and a bathroom that calling it little more than a latrine is a compliment (I attach photos of everything). The breakfast was completely insufficient and inadequate compared to the declared level of the property. It was necessary to repeatedly request the supply of cups, glasses, and bread from staff who were often listless. Above all, it did not correspond in the slightest to the excellence that you declare on the site. All this for 400 euros per night. The point, finally, and it is perhaps the most worrying thing - given that I always use booking to make reservations - is that your information is not reliable."
