Santorini Palace

"Lovely hotel situated in the outskirts of Fira, but it takes only 15/20 minutes to get to the centre. One great advantage is that one can walk out of the hotel and in one minute one is at edge of the crater where one can watch the sunset without the big crowds of Fira. I suggest booking a superior double with sea view toward the east, that way if one gets up early one can watch the sun rise from the balcony. The room was fine and comfortable. The only thing I can criticise was the shower: be very careful as the floor is very slippery and I mean ice ring slippery. We were on half board and the food was good and the portions very big. All the staff, restaurant, bar, reception and housekeeping was very polite and helpful which was a pleasant change. All in all I recommend this hotel."

"Excellent hotel. The staff was impeccable, helpful, and very friendly, and everyone was excellent in their field. Especially the sweetest Lena and Spyros made us feel very at home and made our stay very pleasant. All rooms are spotless, the breakfast with huge variety and high quality, the pool area is ideal, with a sea view and excellent facilities. Our room was really big and with very beautiful decoration. Daily cleaning of the room and changing of bed linens, towels also daily. We were given more than enough information about what and how we can move around the island and get to know it as best as possible. The hotel is in an ideal location, with a beautiful view and easily accessible from a paved road, either through bright and easily accessible paths from the center of Fira in a few minutes. The hotel is worth 10 stars. i We owe special thanks to the staff and Lena at the reception for the surprise they gave us by offering us a bottle of wine for our celebration. She is excellent in her field and ensures our stay is flawless. The hotel is surely an extra little something to visit Santorini again."

"Our stay at Santorini Palace was a wonderful experience, and what made it particularly special was the warmth and kindness of the people. From the moment we arrived, Cristina at the front desk gave us such a warm welcome. She was extremely kind, professional and helpful, providing us with excellent information about Santorini and valuable advice on how to make the most of our stay. We would also like to recognize the entire staff at Santorini Palace. Everyone we met was friendly, attentive and always willing to help. Their hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. Cristina also gave us very helpful information about the island tour we took. We visited the beautiful village of Megalochori, a local winery, Red Beach, and finally Oia, where we enjoyed its famous sunset. A very special mention also goes to Rosario, our guide, who was excellent. She was knowledgeable, friendly and very engaging, sharing information about Santorini, its history, villages, landscapes and traditions in such an interesting and enjoyable way. She made the whole tour even more memorable. The hotel is also very well located in Firostefani, within walking distance of Fira and just steps away from the spectacular views over the caldera. In the end, what makes a hotel truly memorable is not only its location or facilities, but the people who make you feel at home. Cristina and the entire Santorini Palace team certainly did that for us.
