Sivota Diamond Spa Resort

"Just back from a fabulous time at the Sivota Diamond Spa Resort. There are a lot of steps in the hotel grounds and steep paths. This is not a hotel for anyone with mobility issues. The hotel is well run with lovely staff who are very friendly and attentive. The food is good quality and plentiful, but was never hot, which is a shame. There are lots of comfortable sun lounges, so no issues with finding one at any time of day. 3 pools to choose from. The walk into Sivota takes roughly 7 minutes down a steep hill. There’s a lovely harbour and several bars and shops. The beaches here are pebble so beach shoes are required. I would definitely recommend a visit to Sivota and a stay at this hotel."

"Beautiful surroundings, lovely view and nice pool area. Good sea forecast from the weather. Upon arrival: no welcome drink and no water in the room. The room was okay, but the small refrigerator was extremely noisy 24/7 and could not freeze an ice cube well. The cleaning was just barely done, the drying rack was about to fall out of the wall. The food was monotonous and lukewarm. No juice, only juice water in the morning. Tzatikien was an industrial product from a can. Missed Greek specialties. Many children at the pool, the adult pool was small and lay secluded with sunbeds without cushions. There are many stairs in the hotel and from the city there are 45 meters of elevation to the hotel. The hotel should warn about stray wild boars, one evening we met one that fortunately was scared away by dogs and cars. It would have been good to have children with!"

"The hotel wins on the view. It is nice and clean and fine rooms. The bed was a bit on the hard side though. The food was nice, there was a bit of everything, but unfortunately it was more lukewarm than hot. Incredibly sweet staff throughout the hotel. You get free fitness with all the stairs and steep hills. There is just barely enough sunbathing area (with the good mattresses). Overall, we enjoyed the week at the hotel, especially the view."
