Porto Ligia

"Just returned home after the most wonderful stay. Everything was just so perfect. We had 2 rooms. .225 over looking the back,and 221 overlooking the sea and the pool. Bathroom had a " cute" shower with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. All the staff are so friendly and polite. I would add, no matter which rooms you request or are allocated, the road noise can still be heard, not that bad though. On our last day,we had an early evening pick up, and asked if we could stay in one room for a later check out. This was granted at no extra cost ( maybe because it was near the end of the season).This was very much appreciated. Most restaurants and tavernas were closed or closing up, but still a few open. Both Nidri and Lefkada were very busy. Plenty of choice of bars and restaurants. Taxi back from Lefkada €15 Nidri varied, from €25 - €30 each way. Buses were a bit hit and miss especially with times lol but worth €2 20 each way. Overall we had the most perfect holiday Yes, we will be returning to this little piece of paradise."

"I write this at the end of our holiday and the end of the Greek holiday season. The weather has begun to change (a fantastic storm last night) and there are fewer guests as each day passes. Still, we have laid out for the best part of the day in 24* and sun. My husband has been snorkelling in the sea and I swam in the pool. As a person with mobility issues, it is a fantastic pool to access. The view from the hotel is second to none. On arrival, the room we were allocated was a little close to the road for me as I am a very light sleeper. We changed rooms the next day with no hassle and Sotiris helped us to move. The hotel is very clean in all areas and the house keeping has been excellent. Every member of staff, without exception has been friendly and helpful and such a credit to the hotel. We have enjoyed the Greek style breakfast and the coffee is excellent! We have had light snacks at the hotel at lunchtime, all reasonably priced. The bus services to Nidri and Lefkada Town have a timetable although they should be taken as somewhat flexible! But at 2.20 Euro we were not complaining! In the evening we have taken the approximately 10 minute walk to the local tavernas and enjoyed all meals. There are very few left open now as there is a very end of season feel. We were happy to settle for excellent Greek salads brought to our hotel room tonight when the rain started, I can still hear it! We have stayed in Nidri before and although still a lovely place it is much, much busier now and we felt like we were returning to a little piece of paradise when we returned to Porto Ligia. We have had a wonderful holiday, thank you to you all!"

"We have just returned from 11 days at this amazing hotel ! It’s our 2 time in 18 months Amazing staff , amazing location , rooms exceptionally clean and comfortable ! Breakfast was delicious , very fresh and always plentiful ! We will be back ! Thank you very much"
