"This hotel is excellent! I would 100% recommend it to anyone. I came here with my boyfriend on a last minute holiday and it was such a brilliant hotel. The rooms are clean, the pool area is huge and not too busy, the staff are friendly and there is a nice pool bar. It is also in a brilliant location- 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach and 5 minutes to lots of bars and restaurants. Great for families, couples and any age."

"An underrated gem of a hotel. The pictures of the hotels pool do not do it justice. The children’s pool was fantastic for my daughter learning to swim. An enjoyable short walk to the strip and beach, all beautiful. The groups of the hotel are kept to the highest standard and are beautiful. A short walk to the salt lake is a must. Kind, helpful staff throughout. Honestly one of the nicest, simplest hotels we have stayed in for a while, worth every penny and more."

"Where can I start... We have a few days left of our holiday still. But I want to leave a review before leaving.. first of all the staff are very friendly.. we were welcomed on our first day by Anthi on reception. What a lovely girl. Always happy & smiley, helpful & asks us how our holiday is going and to have a nice day. Even the local cats come to give a nice greeting when we go in and out of the hotel. Our room is spacious. Cleaned & made up daily. Beds made, towels changed daily. The maid, who's always cheerful also tidys up after us. Toilet rolls replenished frequently. Hand soap shampoo body wash & lotion in the bathroom. Nice balcony with a pull out dryer. An added bonus is the black out curtains, we slept so well & always slept in later than we usually would. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and are maintained well. At the back of the hotel there is access to a path leading to the beach, 5-10 minute walk The pool area is always clean and tidy NO SUNBED WARS. We could turn up anytime and get a lounger no problem. Snack bar very good, lots of options. Staff very attentive, can't remember their names but make us feel welcome & looked after. The breakfast area is pleasant. Lots of choices, breads, spreads. croissants, cheeses, meats, salad. Yogurts fruits different types of eggs & bacon. Tea coffee & juices. Staff very good. Always replenishing. Rafaella, especially is always happy & smiley in the morning at breakfast, very friendly, makes time for a little chat. You can rent bicycles,bikes & cars from the hotel. A lovely lady sits out the front (also very friendly) We felt we could ask for any advice & the staff are always happy to help. There is lots of info on the hotel board, bus times ect. Bus stop to Kos town 5 mins walk. All in all hotel is in a convenient location. 5 mins to the main strip & beach. Overall Tingakis star is ideal for anyone who wants a hassle free holiday. You're sure to be treated like family.. We can't fault the place.. We would definitely return."
