Blue Nest Hotel

"Hotel Blue Nest is outside Tigaki and we found that very pleasant. The bus stop to Kos town is nearby if you rent a car or bike through the hotel. The hotel itself could use an update here and there, but the rooms are cleaned every day and have clean sheets and towels every day! The staff is particularly friendly and cheerful, they do everything to make the guests happy. For example; We suffered from the music of the bar and were offered a small apartment on the other side of the hotel. We slept wonderfully there. The pool is large and clean, with many seats and sunbeds. The breakfast gets a passing grade from us. The lunch and dinner were excellent; there was a basic menu and an extra choice menu in the evening, all for very affordable prices. At the reception, we reserved excursions, the friendly receptionist arranged everything for us. We prefer to feel at home, coziness, and friendly people over a boutique hotel and formality and had a wonderful holiday!"

"This is our second time staying at this hotel and we just love it. We came for a few nights but abit of a disaster to start off with as we actually missed our flight out to Kos 😂 however the hotel were really lovely about it. The staff especially George and Allen are just so lovely and friendly and just made us laugh non stop! The hotel is very chilled which we love and they do have music on throughout the day too. The food was amazing especially the chicken gyro wraps. The hotel is really clean. The beach is so close however it is out the way of everything else like bars and shops but we wasn’t bothered as you can either walk or get the bus for like €2. We went to Bodrum for the day too which was so easy with the excursion. The only downside is when we stayed the weather was rubbish but apart from that this stay was even better than the first. Thanks for the best time! We can’t wait to come back next year ☺️"

"This was my second stay at Blue Nest Kos this year, and coming back felt a little bit like coming home. What makes this hotel special It is about genuine Greek hospitality, warmth and people who truly care about making you feel welcome. From the moment you arrive, the staff are incredibly friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to help you, make you comfortable or simply make your day a little easier. There is a lovely, relaxed atmosphere where you are treated more like a friend coming on holiday than just another guest. And if everything works together so smoothly, I believe a great deal of the credit goes to the person behind the scenes — the hotel manager, George. Like a conductor of an orchestra, he keeps everything moving, makes sure the different parts work together and creates an atmosphere where both guests and staff can feel comfortable. His attention to the hotel and to his guests really shows. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, the swimming pool is immaculate, and I never had a problem finding a sunbed. And then there is the location: beautiful, almost paradise-like beaches are only around 200 metres away. 🌊 The food deserves a special mention too. Fresh, delicious and full of that homemade feeling — almost like something your Greek grandmother would have prepared for you. The fish is wonderful, and the cocktails are delicious as well. 🍹 Another great convenience is being able to rent bicycles directly at the hotel. Having the bikes already there makes exploring Tigaki and the surrounding area so easy, and it is something I really appreciated. I think it is also worth clarifying what “luxury” means to different people. If you are looking for a huge five-star palace resort, designer toiletries and an ultra-luxury experience, then perhaps this is not what you are looking for. But if your idea of luxury is being treated with genuine kindness, having people go the extra mile for you, enjoying fresh food, a clean and peaceful environment, beautiful beaches nearby and feeling genuinely welcomed rather than simply accommodated — then Blue Nest has that kind of luxury in abundance. I have stayed here twice this year, and the fact that I chose to come back says more than anything else I could write.
