"First impression the hotel looked amazing. Our room was spacious, & plenty of storage. Unfortunately the air con could not cope with the heat, even though September is cooler. Our bathroom basin was not draining properly, reported to reception & apparently was fixed, unfortunately it made no difference, when I looked behind the the basin plug hole was way lower than the outlet to the waste. The pool was huge & well maintained, however the sun beds have seen better days. The restaurant, what can I say, same food every day, same fish dish, chicken dishes & pork every day, if your lucky might get a bit of lamb or duck. Upstairs is a Italian restaurant, which you have to book the day before, lovely freshly cooked Pizzas, I'm not a pizza lover, but these were delicious, they also offered pasta & a few other dishes, desserts were only 3 options. The pool bar had sandwiches, giro's, hotdogs, chips, again the same everyday. The alcohol drinks were not bad, staff were absolutely brilliant, helpful & friendly. Entertainment very poor, though the Greek dancing night was brilliant as was the water aerobics when hosted by the team leader, he was so funny & would jump in the pool with us. There was a lack of music around the pool during the day, when I questioned this I was told people complain? The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, there is a shop opposite but that's it, we got a taxi to Kardamena which is a lovely town & has a calm sea to swim in, it is about 20 minutes in the Taxi, or a Taxi to Mastichari which is about 10 minutes in a Taxi, it has some lovely restaurants & bars. If you want a later checkout, you have to ask the morning of your departure, no one we chatted to were able to get this, we were told we can leave our cases in reception, & book a shower slot in the gym?? Would we stay here again, it's a very BIG NO."

"Good location, great landscape but shy of expectations... Starting with the rooms, adequately, but not thouroughly, cleaned - and linens not up to par with changing. Although great shore, there were many sea weeds. Breakfast and lunch very repetitive. The bartenders in the pool bar could use a bit of training. However, the majority of the employees friendly and welcoming. Congrats to the chef Michael who prepared us a lovely pizza, and the welcoming restaurant manager Pierre. Also, two employees who need special mention, apologies for the mispelling, Mohamad and Muhli - thank you for cheering us up with your genuine smiles. There is a nice tavern in walking distance with great views and good food. Still if you are in the mood you can walk to Mastichari for nice ice-cream. Across the hotel entrance one can supply with everything from the minimarket."

"The hotel room we had (Seaview twin/double) was very dated but the beds were comfortable. We had only booked for room&breakfast and we were glad we did. There was an option to pay 20euros for meals but we only ate once lunch and once dinner. There is not much vegetarian choices so salad for 20euros was too pricey. The Italian restaurant option was pretty poor. However, there was a coastal path that took you to to the town (walk 15 mins) and there were some fantastic restaurants and cafes. The staff at the hotel were all really helpful and friendly and if you needed anything.i.e extra pillows, oat milk for coffee it was provided. Special mention to Alvina and Lori at the main bar 😁 The pool is a great size and the nearby beach outstanding, though you had to get there early for a sunbed. Overall a good budget hotel and very quiet but our rooms were 2-3 star - definitely not 4 *. There was entertainment every night if that is your thing. We watched the Greek night and acrobatics which were excellent! If I stayed again I would pay extra for a premium room."
