Family-friendly retreat near Marmari Beach
Perched right next to Marmari Beach on the sun-soaked island of Kos, this modern hotel’s long list of family-friendly facilities ensures you’ll have a holiday to remember. The only downside is that you’ll eventually have to catch a flight home.
It’s all about taking it easy around the pool here. The main pool comes with a pair of waterslides that’ll keep little ones busy while you take some time off to laze on a sun lounger. There are also two kids’ pools and even one just for toddlers, which is partially in the shade for your peace of mind. You needn’t worry about keeping cool either as three poolside bars ensures a thirst-quenching drink is never more than a few steps away.
Foodies, meanwhile, are kept happy thanks to a huge buffet restaurant that serves up local and international cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Counting the calories? The Fork House à la carte restaurant specialises in healthier dishes like grilled fish and salads, plus American favourites such as sizzling steaks and burgers. And with an additional two à la carte restaurants – one Greek and one adults-only one specialising in Mediterranean cuisine – also in the mix, as well as a coffee shop, lounge bar, and three pool bars, you really can have it all at this hotel.
Keeping active is easy, too, thanks to a myriad of activities that includes tennis, a mini golf course, and a playground for little ones. Fancy venturing out? You’re in luck, a sandy stretch of beach is just a five-minute stroll away. Meanwhile, hopping in a taxi will get you to the stunning natural beauty of the Alikes Salt Lakes in a mere 15 minutes.
