Simple base near Kos Town
If you’re looking for a simple and comfortable base near Kos Town, look no further. The Leonidas Hotel and Studios are in Lambi, just outside the island’s capital, but you can reach the heart of town in less than a 20-minute stroll, with a bunch of bars and restaurants on route. Plus, the beach is within a 10-minute wander. It’s a spotlessly clean stretch that’s well set up for sunbathing, with fine sand and crystal-clear waters.
If you’re spending the day at the hotel, the pool is the place to be. It’s surrounded by a spacious sun terrace topped with collection of loungers, parasols and palm trees. There’s a bar on the poolside, which serves food and drinks all day long. For little ones, there’s a shallow swimming spot bolted onto the main pool.
You’ve got the choice of studios, single and double rooms here. They’re all clean and bright, and each one has a private bathroom with a bath or shower, and a hairdryer. You’ll also have a balcony or terrace, a flat-screen TV, a fridge, and air conditioning. If you like to do a bit of self-catering while you’re away, opt for a studio room – they come with a kitchen area that’s ideal for prepping snacks and light bites.
