Diamond Boutique Hotel

"We had a wonderful week at the Diamond Boutique Hotel, arriving after midnight we were greeted by friendly staff who provided a refreshing drink and wet towels to refresh. Once checked in we were taken to our room and everything was explained to us. Throughout our stay all members of staff were friendly, as soon as you approached the reception desk the staff were on their feet to greet you. The rooms were comfortable and very, very clean, as others have said the wardrobe was very short, even my knee length dresses trailed on the floor. Pool area was great, clean, no loud music, no animation team which is just how I like it. Sunbeds were so comfortable, never a problem getting one and no one reserving them. Breakfast catered for everyone, the choice was immense. We ate a couple of meals at the pool side bar, lovely food and reasonably priced, we participated in the Greek night which was fun and very good value, only problem the amount of food was unbelievable, I’m sure a lot got wasted. The hotel is situated down a quiet street which resulted in a great nights sleep as there was no noise. I would definitely recommend Diamond Boutique Hotel."

"Location: To far away from main area of Kos town, at least 15mins walk, along roads with no paths or paths with large trees so you couldn’t walk on path. Very difficult to get Taxi, only managed 1 night from 10. Room: Really nice room, good size, good shower, bed is far too low to ground. Nice welcome pack on arrival. Breakfast: Excellent breakfast, great choice staff are great. Pool: Nice pool area, no problem getting sun beds which are comfy but quite old, so you do sink into them a little, nothing going on during the day, nice atmosphere just chilled music quite and relaxing, Be aware though - any light coloured swimwear will be discoloured, others have commented on this too and it’s pretty bad, the hotels answer is the pool is cleaned everyday, we never seen it get cleaned unless it was during the night. Don’t wear anything expensive. Pool Bar: Expensive for drinks and food during the day, no light meals ie: toasties or baguettes, looking at least €15 for a burger and fries which wasn’t great, hotel opposite was half the price. Nearby: Small shop 2 mins walk, excellent for drinks and snacks, very cheap. Very derelict around hotel, house next door is like a scrap yard, lots of cats and chickens all over roads. This is a nice hotel, but in my opinion not a worth a 5 star review."

"Nice hotel with lovely sunbeds and a great breakfast. Staff really friendly and helpful. It's about a 20 minute walk to Kos town and about 35 minute walk to the old town. The nearest beach is also about a 20 minute walk, but it's all flat so it's quite an easy walk. Just a few tips for the hotel, the wardrobe is not tall enough for long summer dresses or trousers. The bathroom in room 408 is dated, for a boutique hotel I expected a walk-in shower not one inside the bath. The black taps were quite old and worn and the toilet seat didn't fit the toilet, it was too small. Apart from these points we had a nice stay."
