State-of-the-art luxury on the beach

Located on the coastline of Kos with sweeping views of the Aegean Sea, the luxurious all-inclusive Ikos Aria hotel makes the perfect setting for a tranquil getaway. It’s set among acres of manicured gardens, and the beach – which is stocked with loungers and parasols – is just metres away. The hotel opened its doors in 2019, so everything is super modern and fresh.

This place is set up seriously well for relaxation. Expect waiters to pop along to your sunbed by the pool or on the beach with drink and snacks – you needn’t move a muscle if you don’t feel like it. When it comes to swimming spots, there’s plenty of choice. The two main swimming spots are huge, and there’s also an adults-only pool and splash pool for little ones. For a change of scenery, head to the heated indoor pool for a swim.

Enjoy some ‘me’ time at the Ikos spa where they use Anne Semonin Paris signature spa and beauty products, and let your worries flutter away. You can keep up your fitness regime in the gym, or try out the hotel’s yoga classes if you fancy a good stretch. The activities agenda also features everything from tennis and beach volleyball to mountain biking and dance classes. Younger travellers aren’t left out of the fun, either – there’s a kids’ club and a teen zone to keep them busy, as a well as two football training academies.

Foodies will love it here. Start at the well-stocked international buffet restaurant, which comes with a sea view and a quiet zone for peace-seeking adults. You’ll also find seven à la carte restaurants with Michelin star curated menus on offer covering Greek, Italian, Asian, Spanish and French cuisine. There’s also 24/7 room service, if you’re feeling peckish out of hours. And for drinks, you’ll be spoilt for choice with a selection of eight bars, including poolside and beach bars - there is also a wine cellar offering 300 international and local labels!

This hotel truly is the perfect get away for families also, with a range of activities on offer for the little ones including a kids club, a teens club and the hotel also has a football academy.
