"Just returned from a wonderful week with my partner (end of August '25) at Diana Studios, Kefalonia. Great location, just 20 mins drive from the airport, less than a mile from Trapezaki Beach (sandy with still, clear waters, perfect for swimming) and many excellent tavernas, again within a very short drive/taxi ride. Accommodation was spotless with a balcony and we had a lovely view of the sea and Zakythos. Beautiful pool which was never crowded and a great optional, good value Greek breakfast (available until 12 noon!) although you could have French, Italian or British! Go for the Greek! I was expecting to pick up the keys and rarely see the hosts! How wrong! Alex and his father, Stavros who did the cooking (you can eat at lunchtime too) were very present and charming. Nothing was too much trouble and Alex delighted in recommending day trips and helping to organise. A car is essential for exploring and as some of the roads are narrow, go for a smaller car if possible. I will definitely return to Diana Studios again...and soon!"

"We had a wonderful few days at Diana studios before setting off on a cycling trip. Alex kindly upgraded us to a suite (thanks Alex) as we had arrived early in the season and the suite was an available. The suite was fabulous and the views were spectacular. We loved having breakfast on the terrace, watching the birds skim the pool and the scent of the jasmine and honeysuckle everywhere."

"We had high expectations for this property, especially given the good communication from the owner before our arrival, who provided helpful information. However, our experience was far from what we had hoped. The biggest issue was the noise. Our room (Room 3) was located next to a busy road, and the bin collection at 5:00 AM added to the disturbance. The rooms are not soundproof, so we could hear everything from neighboring rooms—doors closing, showers running, conversations, and even toilets flushing. The constant noise kept us awake all night. I raised the issue on the first day and requested a room change, but I was told no other rooms were available. Strangely, the next day, guests in Room 4 also complained about the noise and were moved to a different room. This double standard left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. On top of that, the shower in our room was extremely small and uncomfortable to use. After two unbearable nights, we decided to cut our stay short by four days and paid to move to another property. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday and a good night’s sleep, I would recommend looking elsewhere."
